Accelerator Manager - Dundee

Over the last 20 years, Andy has amassed a wealth of experience in business start-ups and scale-ups.

Andy has concluded over £25m in international contracts, secured £2m in venture capital, led an MBO and been responsible for the strategic vision, creation, planning, implementation and management of several digital media businesses, specifically within the Video Games sector. In 2014, Andy started working with Elevator to oversee the delivery of a new, state of the art Centre of Entrepreneurship in Aberdeen. Andy now actively heads up the Accelerator Programme in Dundee and has led the creation of the new Centre of Entrepreneurship and Accelerator in Dundee for Elevator in partnership with the University of Dundee. 

Separately, Andy works with the International Space School Educational Trust and NASA Astronauts to deliver STEM focussed educational programmes for Schools, sending experiments to the International Space Station. Andy is also a Founding Trustee of Paisley Community Trust, aiming to build a new Performing Arts and film theatre in the town.

Andy has practiced Shotokan Karate for 35 years and is a qualified instructor.

He is also a keen cyclist, 'iphoneographer' and space enthusiast.
